Remanufacturing/Reconditioning

Our profesional service shop brings old parts back to their original working order through remanufacturing and reconditioning. Products are cleaned, lubricated and reassembled to operate under normal usage and conditions. We specialize in reconditioning used breakers and motor control parts.

Upgrading/Retrofitting

Looking to improve the efficiency, safety and dependability of your electrical equipment? Our professional service shop can upgrade your motor control buckets and panels to include new components while keeping the original controls. We will also supply Auto CAD drawings of your upgraded equipment.

Repair/Troubleshooting

Southland Electrical is a proud member of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL) and the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA). Our repair services will bring your equipment back to full working order.

Life Extension Programs

Lengthen the life of your equipment with our Life Extension programs. Components are kept in working order longer through preventative maintenance and professional reconditioning.

Testing

Have a component that is not working properly? Send it to us, we will test it for you. Southland tests circuit breakers, starters, transformers and other electrical equipment according to NETA standards. Primary injection tests are performed using a BTSM-2, and secondary injection tests are done using Square D, GE and Cutler Hammer multi-amp testing equipment. We will suggest and quote necessary repair work.

UL Panel Building 508A

Southland’s UL508A certified shop has been building panels for our customers for over 25 years. Have a pre-designed panel? We can build it according to your schematics. We can also custom design panels to meet your needs. Auto CAD drawings are supplied with all of our custom panel work. Our inventory contains spare parts and components that date back to the 1950’s. We build custom panels to meet our customers exact specifications.
